Posting about this farewell night which was held last 6th of May 09 is a bit too late, I know.. == I somemore haven't got any pictures on that night.. Thus after browsing through some blogs, hehee.. Here I insert few posts that others had posted about this farewell night. Will update this post again when I get enough pictures.. (If I got to get some pics on this.. ==)

Easter Day celebration Jan 09..

Yea, this post is too outdated.. == But what to do, I seriously have a very lousy internet connection from my room in UTP. Only can post about it now lo.. One more lame thing: I don't have pictures on the event yet. Thus, if this appears to be a boring post to you, paisey ho.. ^^

Alright, so here's the flyer of the event. I heard it was designed by Jack and Raymond (inform me if this info is wrong).

Hmm.. Nice ho.. ^^ This time around, the event was headed by Chia Ming with his wonderful committees. It was held on the 12th April, 2009.

Like a normal Sunday service, the event started at 2.30pm at Church Of Praise Tronoh. It started off with praise and worship led by Michelle and her team, followed by a special sketch about God's love presented mainly by our brothers and sisters who are graduating from UTP this semester.It was beautiful.. ^^ Praise God for all the talents and hearts to serve.

Then Pastor Elijah shared a sermon on LOVE. One thing that has impacted me from this event is to love one another. I remember myself start to say to many people "I love you" after that as urged by pastor in his sermon that day. == Er, it may sound weird now, but then.. Hey, ^^ expressing "I love you" to our brothers and sisters in Christ really does help tighten the bond among us.

Then we had a simple yet fulfilling refreshment, ordered from a nearby coffee shop. After having fellowship, it's time to adjourn the Easter Day celebration. Praise God for few new faces that came for the event that day. And really thank God for the effort of everyone involved who made the event a great one.

It's really time to start loving one another around us. ^^ The three words "I love you" are not easy to be said, but get your heart right and try to express it to your brothers and sisters in Christ, you will find a different closeness than before. God bless!

Pangkor CG Retreat Jan 09..

It was a one-night trip in Pangkor, and it's my first time going to beach since I have grown up.

We had some funny activities before we went snorkelling and island hopping. One thing I can't forget was to be wrapped as a toilet-roll mummy.. =="

And here's my opponent - Aaron the mummy.. ^^

The water fight was seriously terrible but we all did enjoy.. lol..

After our snorkelling and island hopping, we had our Banana Boat! ^^

Our BBQ dinner at night..

Our prayer meeting before we called it a day..

As the next day was a Sunday, we had our own 'Sunday Service' in the small room.. Thank God for His presence..

Then finally, departing back..

Then on our way back, we went for more fellowship at a seafood restaurant by the roadside (forgot the name of the restaurant d..) and.. McD! (Sometimes I do wonder how strong is our sppetite actually.. ==")

In short, really enjoyed the trip and thank God for such a fellowship..

COP Tronoh Intro Night 2009...

Two nights ago was great night! We had our great January 2009 Intro Night.. ^^

Thanks to the church committees who're willing to spend their time to prepare for the event. Well, let the pictures tell the story..

~ the decoration on the wall.. Though it seemed to give a little 'kindergarten' feeling, but it was aligned with the theme we had that night - Lose ~

Then we played algorithm march. It's like queuing up in a line and then march. The first person will lead the sequence of actions. When the first person does the second action, the second person starts doing the first action, and the actions are passed down to the last person algorithmically. Quite funny and challenging.. Hehee.. Have few video clips captured during the march here but can't upload to this blog ==".. Well will post the pictures after I get it from the other people in the future.. lol..

Then we played "mafia". Can you imagine a big group of people playing mafia.. Hahaa.. But the game went on well though.. ^^

Praise God for His blessing that night that though things didn't turn out as we expected or planned, but it wasn't any worse than what we thought of too, just that it happened differently.. It's true that we plan, but still God decides.. ^^

Thanks to all church committees too for your hearts and willingness to serve for God's house.

And to all who came, thanks for your presence and we really appreciated it a lot. Hope to see you all more often in the future. God bless you all..

Sorry sorry, the date for COP Tronoh Intro Night is changed again.

This is the confirmed one already..

Date : 19th January 2009
Day : Monday
Time : 8-11pm
Venue : Church Of Praise Tronoh (just outside UTP)

Transportation is provided at V2 cafe as well as old V5 cafe at 7.30pm.

Activities for the night are introduction to seniors of different courses, introduction to the church, games and performances.
Everyone is welcome despite your religion because this is not a religious night. ^^ Feel free to come and join us. God bless you all..

Updated church events..

Brothers and sisters.. The following shows the list of events COP Tronoh will be having for the first week of the semester.

First of all, prayer meeting is back and we will have our first prayer meeting tomorrow night at V5 hut. For this week, we will have it a little bit earlier - 10pm - instead of 11pm as classes are not started yet..

Next, our first Sunday service is on the 18th of January 2009. Transportation is provided at V2 cafe and old V5 cafe at 2pm sharp. And our service will start at 2.30pm.
