We often claim about how much we love God; we sing of how much we need God in our life..

Now, quiet down for a moment and think about it sincerely, ask yourself honestly: do you really mean what you claim and sing? Do you actually understand what it means by loving God and needing Him in our life?

For every moment of our life, the world is observing us, judging the ways we speak, act and think. Throughout your day, how many times have you given in to temptation and sin? Do you realize that your decision of not giving in to the least act of sin can turn out to be a great testimony for God to the people around you?

You don't have to resign your study or work and be a pastor in order to testify God's love in you; you don't have to cramp your daily schedule with one-after-another Christian spiritual events and programs like Bible studies in order to testify God's love in you. God doesn't say that doing 'great' things is the only way for you to glorify Him. He is looking at the little insignificant things that you are willing to do when no one else does. Picking up a trash on the ground, trying to stop gossiping about someone you don't like, caring for your enemy, sharing your favorite food with your brothers; all these little things are enough to make God smile!

We often want to do 'great' things to bring God glory, but we neglect the awareness of not doing things that would fall short of God's glory. I often am proud of good testimonies that I have done for God, thinking that God must be proud of a servant like me, too. But somehow today God just makes me realized that, it's time for me to be ashamed of the bad testimonies I have been giving to the world, too.

" Be careful, however, that the exercise of your freedom does not become a stumbling block to the weak. " ~ 1 Corinthians 8:9

" So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God. Do not cause anyone to stumble, whether Jews, Greeks or the church of God. " ~ 1 Corinthians 10:31-32

Really, brothers and sisters in Christ, every morning as you open up your eyes and see the wonderful light God has given you to see for one more day, reconsider how you can start using your life for God and not for yourself. May the loving God bless you more abundantly.. Amen.
