Today's devotion: 1 Peter 2:19-20

"For it is commendable if a man bears up under the pain of unjust suffering because he is conscious of God. But how is it to your credit if you receive a beating for doing wrong and endure it? But if you suffer for doing good and you endure it, this is commendable before God."

Our lives are full of problems, as God has promised in His Word. Because we who want to be righteous for God, are placed at higher rank by the devil in his List of Enemy.

Every day, we receive accusation; we face troubles in things we do; we face disagreement from others; we get disappointed; we taste failure; we feel the guilt for the wrong things we have done. No doubt, we all suffer differently each day, consciously and unconsciously.

Sometimes, when we are doing things with good intention, we are misunderstood by others and people accuse us. When we make mistake in new things that we are still in the process of learning, people put us down by blaming us for our mistake. When we have tried our best to give the best, people cannot be satisfied and they point their fingers to us again for not doing good enough.

Brothers and sisters, don't ever be discouraged, never lose heart as Paul urged in 2 Corinthians 4:1. Jesus faced much more than we do, yet He never gave up all because He loves you and I.

As we don't hope to be judged by people around us, let's not judge others, too. When people around you make mistake, consciously or unconsciously, please give allowance to them.

"Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you." ~ Colossians 3:13

If you feel you have forgiven that person for so many times, yet he still repeats the same mistake, then what should you do? Well, Jesus already gives us the answer..

Then Peter came to Jesus and asked, "Lord, how many times shall I forgive my brother when he sins against me? Up to seven times?"

Jesus answered, "I tell you, not seven times, but seventy-seven times.

7.. It's a perfect number for our Lord. And here I personally was touched to think it means to give perfect forgiveness to others like how our God has forgiven us.

It's all about love.. Love God and we will gain the strength from Him to endure and persevere when we face unjust suffering. Then love others, so we won't give the same unjust suffering that have been given to us to others.

Yea, love you all.. ^^ God bless..
